Location: Yard next to the library
Activity: Playing piano]
In the mid-summer skies while the storm was building, Marcus was fingering the plastic keys to his electric piano, playing the song Calalini. Around him, students gathered to listen to him produce the melodic sounds. "He's pretty good, I wish I could play piano or at least half of the instruments he plays." "Man... He's going to go far if somebody finds him." "I wonder if he does covers and uploads them to YouTube... Lets look and see!" In fact, he was rather popular on YouTube as a pianist and a violinist. His channel, MarcusResonate, had over half of the college population subscribed to him. It started out as a project back in high school, then it grew into a passion. Now he has sponsors, fan mail, and a form of income besides his job at Romantix down the road from his dorm.
"Pack up? I don't think so... It still looks like it's a few miles away," replied the male, eye squinting in thought. 'Perhaps I should pack up early so I don't get me or my piano wet. This thing cost a damn fortune, then I'd lose some subscribers because they only like my piano covers.' It wasn't long before he felt a droplet of water hit his forearm. The man nearly jumped out of his own skin just because a minuscule amount of rain got on his skin.
Without wasting anytime, Marcus shoved his keyboard into the travel bag and zipped it closed. Slinging the pack across his shoulders, MKinley walked out from under the tree he was under to look up at the sky. It didn't seem quite right, as he could clearly see constellations through the black clouds. "What the fuc--" he muttered before a blinding flash of electricity struck him in the chest. The one billion volts should have killed the human, but it only rendered him unconscious for the span of thirty seconds.
Upon regaining consciousness, Marcus saw strange creatures flapping their wings. It was nothing like he's seen before in his life. They resembled bats... but they weren't the rats with wings like he studied back in elementary school. They were violent. He discovered this when one dived towards him. Without hesitating, Mark dropped to his hands and knees to avoid having one of those things become a facehugger.
When the creature dove back around, Mark's hand smoothly slid through the air, producing a stone wall that followed the curve of trajectory. This was... new, to say the least. It reminded the man of Avatar: the Last Airbender when he was a kid.
Marcus shook his head to replace his mind into reality. He would die or be severely injured if he stayed where he sat, and that motivated him enough to start sprinting towards the entry of the library. The male practically punched the door open and slid along the floor, only to bowl somebody over. "I'm sorry!" he apologized before scrambling to his feet.
